Commercial scaffolding (also known as industrial scaffolding) is used on commercial buildings like office blocks, bridges and construction sites. It’s used in many ways: assisting in the development of new properties, skyscraper maintenance, listed building restoration, and providing safe access for various installations. This type of scaffolding is usually contracted long-term. 

 

Commercial scaffolding in general, brings more challenges than domestic scaffolding, because the requirements are more complex. This is why it requires a specialised team to complete the job.

Domestic Scaffolding

Domestic scaffolding is used for construction on smaller, residential properties such as houses and flats to aid tasks like external painting, roof repairs or installing solar panels for example. 

The main reason homeowners use domestic scaffolding is for safety, it also makes the tasks in hand easier and quicker.
